Service was super friendly. But the food wasn't worth the money. The burger was completely soggy from the salad and the BBQ sauce was just decoration. That reduced the zoo experience a lot.

Very nicely furnished restaurant, with very tasty Mexican food and drinks but also Wiener Schnitzel, something for everyone. Very friendly staff, I can only recommend the restaurant.

We waited a long time for breakfast, although only about 20% of the tables were occupied. Nothing special in taste. Ready-made fruit salad, Bircher Muesli does not deserve the name. But the service was nice.

First we had to wait half an hour to get a table at all because half of the tables were reserved. Later, we learned that the tables were set to reserved because the staff was too few and couldn't follow up, The waiters ran back and forth through the rows of tables like a frightened swarm of bees. A system was not recognizable. After we got a table, the waiter wanted to take our order, although we didn't even get a menu After we had received a menu and we then ordered, it took a while until our order even arrived in the kitchen because the waiter had first taken the order from 5 other tables, but then it still didn't go on , because the waiter in question then got the order to put more tables on reserved, which he did immediately but apparently End forgot that he had to place the orders from the 5 tables. After a little while we got our drinks. A long way later we got our food. The schnitzel tasted bland and the fries weren't salted either. When we did We really had to chase after the waiter because he either didn't notice us or ignored us. Then I had to go to the toilet with my child. What else can I say, but a monkey steel is probably cleaner than the sanitary facilities there We were very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Long waiting times for lukewarm food. Mexican casserole was a squashed inedible stew with indefinable ingredients. The schnitzel for children was a cutlet from the large plate. French fries cold and sticky. Burger with hack was the only thing that was okay but not commendable either. What a shame about so much money for unsavory food.

We didn't even get to dinner. The service was so unfriendly, I've never seen it like that before. The guests were neither welcomed in a friendly manner nor appreciated. When my mother was asked for an ashtray by a gentleman at the next table and answered that there was so much paper in it, not that it was burning, the waitress said: "Now let's calm down again". Um, was anyone upset? When we decided not to eat there he asks us what our problem is. Nice way to clear up your own wrongdoing. Somebody missed his job!

Totally dissatisfied. Staff totally rude and the food was cold and tasted bad. The fries were cold and were gross. You could chew the baked potato like chewing gum. Not even worth a star.

Service was nice, the waiting time for three dishes was really long. The schnitzel was quite small, the french fries sticky and the sauce was clearly not enough. The Bolognese sauce was unfortunately not particularly good either. Canteen food level at restaurant prices unfortunately doesn't quite match.

First a somewhat frosty reception. There were 3! Tables occupied .. Nevertheless our food has a proud 40 !! Minutes. After 25 minutes we had asked, there was the explanation that you should learn another cook .... You could have pointed this out beforehand ... waiting in the zoo with 5 children 40 minutes is not very relaxed .... Then 1 meal was missing. When we ironically said that we didn't want to wait that long again, we were snapped and the waitress was loud about us. An apology would have been more appropriate ... But it never came. Food was OK ... but not anymore

Were as a large group with 6 under 6 year olds in the side room at a reserved table for the birthday party. The staff was quick, very friendly, fond of children and busy. Everything was correct for 22 people and when 3 meals had to be made again, that was absolutely no problem. It was not discussed, but apologized several times and the court was made from scratch again. Despite this small breakdown, the food was very good and plentiful and everything was brought in at the same time. The price-performance ratio is also right. Unreserved recommendation, especially with small children !!

We were there as part of the "Magical Tropical Lights" and ate delicious food, friendly service, clear little map, reasonable prices.

Food and atmosphere is really great! The service was also very friendly. As in the rest of the zoo, the prices are set relatively high.

Breakfast for only 8 €. Two bread rolls and baguette with plenty of cold meats, jam and salad. Top price performance! The coffee is available from 3 €.

Great food

For once, we were not guests from Zoo, but from the Rosenthal. Food tasted very good, especially the peanut soup. However, I feel € 8.50 for a large portion of rice pudding as clearly too expensive, especially if you are outside of the zoo guest. Is written on the card, especially only the small portion for 4 €. Please touch up!

Very expensive but good food, direct view of the enclosure of "Patagonia"

Came here twice on our family vacation to have a snack and coffees. Serving staff had a great attitude and sense of Humor. Food was very affordable and of ok quality. Sunny weather made it easy to accept. Coffees were good. Kids could play around with plastic bricks or little cars. I e were able to consume the food in the close by Rosental. They’ve trusted us with returning the plates, cups and trays. Great. Anytime again.

If you come to the zoo, you have to come to this restaurant

Ideal place to go when you are in the Zoo Leipzig. The offer is rather smaller but the food is tasty. The staff is very friendly as everywhere in the Zoo. You can either sit outside or inside. For families with kids, there is a kids corner with multiple toys, books and desks with trains or cars. Restrooms incl. changing table are right next to the restaurant, so your little fellows are 100% covered?. The restaurant offers also a kids menu. I usually go for chilly con carne with baguette and beer. With the Leipzig Zoo season pass you'll get 10% discount.

Zoo was amazing, clean and healthy animals. The facilities were good too. The children playgrounds were excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit. The zoo is divided into regions from the world.

One of the restaurants at the Leipzig's Zoo. Due to the warm weather, we sat outside so I cannot evaluate the interior. There are two playgrounds in front of the restaurant and next to it, and a beautiful space to play in the interior which make this restaurant ideal for families. The menu is limited (which is good) and the food was surprisingly good as for this type of pub. The staff were friendly and helpfull, despite the prolonged waiting time it was at an acceptable level.

The food is rather simple, but you can sit outdoors and watch the CAPYBARAS while eating! ?

We had to wait more than one and half hour for the meal. The food was okay, but the extremely slow service just ruined our day at the zoo, we wanted to spend these two hours in another way than waiting in a restaurant.

I have been here from the side of the park. Nice place where you can have some snacks. The main attraction of it is the playground for children, really good idea.
